The inaugural Cape Town Formula E in February was a huge success, and an event that Brooke Buckland was honoured to be involved with.
PR work on the Formula E had started a year prior, with the launch in February 2022 and the months preceding the event entailing a wide range of public relations services, including press releases, press conferences, media liaison and media activation planning.
In the week running up to the Formula E global press descended on Cape Town, and there was a non-stop calendar of related events to manage from a publicity perspective, including the Stormers vs FE Drivers gathering on Clifton 4th Beach. Brooke Buckland also provided PR services to a variety of related events, such as the Africa's Green Economy Summit and E-Fest ELECTRIC, which was co-located at the Formula E in Green Point.
The event itself ran as smoothly as the well-oiled global machine it is, and was a huge hit with the public, roleplayers and participants.
