One of the most rewarding projects we've worked on this year is the launch of the MasiSports project, which is focused on the schools of the South Peninsula township Masiphumelele and spearheaded by cricket legend Vince van der Bijl. The project focuses on the trilogy of education, life skills and sport to provide junior and high school learners with the opportunity to tap into their talents and expand horizons.

Initially brought in the manage the PR for the launch, our scope was widened to include assistance with managing the launch itself, producing the project's impact report and helping with the new site launch, www.masisports.co.za.

The launch, held on May 6, was a huge success despite seriously unfriendly weather. But project supporters and potential donors were able to see the incredible work being done at Ukhanyo Primary School -- kids at work in the classrooms and a wide variety of sports being played by both boys and girls on the astroturf, cricket nets and courts.

The ultimate aim is to raise funds for the project, enabling sustainability and longevity.
