For the last six months, Brooke Buckland has been working with Ella, a unique new brand that is a premium blend of coffee and milk. It can be consumed 'straight up' for a quick, natural boost, hot water can be added to the blend to make a cappuccino, or it can be poured over ice. Our mandate has been to increase awareness of the product. One of our most rewarding PR activations for the brand has been with Ella ambassador and well-known surfer Beyrick de Vries. Over the last three months, Brooke Buckland and Beyrick have co-ordinated two 'board meetings' -- one with fire fighters in Durban, and another with policemen in Durban -- both of which have created great press opportunities for Ella.
